Pemuteran Beach's Submarine Habitat Well Preserved
With its stunning view of submarine habitats, Pemuteran
Beach in Northern Bali has great potential tourism attractions.
A myriad of species of gorgeous fish, turtles and other
kinds of marine animals live under the sea. The unmatched
beauty of submarine animals and coral reefs has prompted
local villagers to make continuous efforts to preserve
the sea ecology.
Local villagers have been engaged to preserve the sub-sea
habitats since 1992. Their efforts to preserve the site
has paid off when they received an award from the Indonesian
Minister of Marine Affairs a few years ago.
With local villagers' commitment to preserving the sub-sea
habitats, Pemuteran Beach is one of the safest beaches
in Bali in terms of sub-sea ecology.
Amazed by the beauty of the submarine habitats in the
Pemuteran Beach, an Australian tourist has given donation
to help finance the construction of artificial coral reefs.
Along with local villagers, the tourist constructed the
artificial coral reefs by taking advantage of electrical
current.
Undoubtedly, Pemuteran Beach provides a magnet for visitors
from far and wide to see the beauty of its submarine habitat
and coral reefs. But if you are unable to dive, then you
can spend your leisure hours by riding horse or hiking.
With its fresh air and peaceful setting, the area close
to the Pemuteran Beach is an ideal place for horse riding
or hiking activity.
Accommodations with cozy atmosphere are also available
not far from the beach.
Pemuteran Beach is, indeed, worth a visit.
