Jimbaran is a sleepy cove where fleets of fishing boats abound.
This was once a very quiet area however its image has improved with the opening of the Four Season's Resort, The Ritz-Carlton and the
Inter-Continental Hotels. In the last couple of years, it has become even more
busy, as grilled seafood restaurants have sprung up at a rapid pace along the beach,
attracting many visitors. It is still a popular spot for windsurfing and sailing small boats which are available for rent. Despite the hustle and bustle, the beach retains that sleepy feeling particularly when the light begins to fade. You can finish your day here by watching the sunset and eating the freshest seafood around. Fresh! It is still alive. Choose your fish from a tank, negotiate your price and wait for it to be cooked while you slowly become inebriated with a lager or two. You will be delighted and it needn't cost you a fortune. |
