Sanur is a mixture bringing together the two worlds of Kuta and Nusa Dua. There are luxury hotels mixing with some of the cheaper places to stay. If you do not always want to 'eat in', then there are plenty of restaurants offering a wide range of meals from the quite expensive through to the dirt-cheap prices of local warungs.

The beach is safe here as it is sheltered by a reef. There is an array of water sports, diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, parasailing, etc.
