SBY 07 Imogiri Royal Graver

Imogiri is an official cemetery of the royal families of Yogyakarta and Surakarta. The Royal grave is located on a hilltop, reachable by 345 stone steps. Imogiri is about 17 km southeast of Yogyakarta and accessible by bus or car. The tombs are built within three main courtyards. Entry into the smaller courtyard housing the tombs of the princes is allowed, but only on Mondays 09.00 - 12.00 and Fridays 13.00 -16.00. Traditional Javanese dress to be worn which however can be hired on the modest fee. The commentary is closed during the Moslem month of Ramadhan. (Dep: 08.00, Duration 4 hours)

SBY 08 Rafting on the Elo River

Transfer from hotel to Blondo base camp. Embark the boat for approximately two hours rafting on the Elo River. Enjoy its excitement and scenic beauty of villages along the river. Disembark at Mendut. Remember to take change of clothing and your camera.
