DENPASAR (indo.com): The Ngurah Rai Airport said it would cancel 23 flights in observance of the Nyepi Day or Day of Silence that would fall on April 13, 2002, from 6 am to 6 pm.

It said that the flights to be cancelled will include 8 domestic flights and 15 international flights.

However, the emergency landing service will be held as usual. During the Nyepi Day, the transit flights, over fly technical landing, including medical evacuation are allowed. "Especially for technical landing, the flight's crews and the passengers must stay in the airport until the Nyepi Day passes," a source said.
