International artists rumored to perform in Bali

DENPASAR (INDO.COM): Following the success of the New Year concert at GWK in Jimbaran, Bali, the East and West Collaboration Concert committee has indicated that further shows may well be in the pipeline.

A local newspaper on the island reported that the Red Hot Chilli Peppers David Foster and Luciano Pavorotti were slated to perform in the near future, probably at the same location. The Red Hot Chili Peppers were intending to appear in December but cancelled following the October terror attack. The group is now expected to perform in Bali on April of 2003.

A young singing sensation, discovered and trained by world-class composer-conductor David Foster, will reportedly appear at GWK in a mixed concert of classical and pop music supported by a full symphony orchestra. Although dates have yet to be determined, Luciano Pavorotti is also set to appear at some point in 2003.
