Over 1,000 freight forwarders expected to attend FIATA
congress in Bali
DENPASAR (indo.com): The International Federation of
Freight Forwarders (FIATA) will hold their 41st annual
congress at the Bali International Convention Center in
Bali. The congress will run from September 29 to October
03, 2003. This years' congress will take 'the role of
forwarders in the logistics and supply chain' as its main
theme.
The Indonesian Forwarders Association (INFA) will host
the congress.
At least 1,200 freight forwarders from across the world,
including 400 participants from Indonesia, are expected
to attend the upcoming congress.
The FIATA is comprised of over 40,000 members companies
working in 150 countries worldwide. The congress will
also feature an exhibition on the latest advanced instruments
and equipments of freight forwarders. The exhibition involving
as many as 54 booths will be held at the Bali International
Convention Center.
The organizing committee will prepare special programs
that will allow the participating congress to enjoy the
spectacular view of Bali and the magnificence of Balinese
arts and culture.
