Four Bali bombing victims to be cremated

DENPASAR (indo.com): Four bodies of the Bali bombing victims in Sanglah Hospital are to be cremated at Mumbul graveyard, Nusa Dua, Bali on Thursday, January 23, 2003.

The director of Sanglah Hospital, dr IGN Lanang M. Rudiartha said that all were Balinese citizens. They are : Ketut Sumerata, Gede Badrawan, Kadek Ngartina, and Made Mertana.

Even though Sanglah Hospital have asked the families to pick up the remains, they have not done so since they have been symbolically cremated in accordance with the ritual Hindu ceremonies.

Dr. Lanang added that donations given by the Bali Governor for the ceremonial procession total Rp. 7.5 million. This will help pay for the traditional ceremony.
