Painter Ni Made to display her works

DENPASAR (indo.com): Balinese painter Ni Made Kurniati Andika will exhibit her works at the Seniwati Gallery, Ubud, Gianyar from April 7 to May 2, 2002.

The exhibition, entitled 'Like A Woman', will show various aspects of women's life: ways of life, clothing, make-up and what she does. Ni Made's works explore the beauty of women in terms of both physical and spiritual characteristics through behavior that enhances femininity and beauty.

Born in Denpasar in 1976, Ni Made Kurniati Andika has enjoyed painting since she was a child. She studied fine arts at the Indonesian School of Art in Denpasar, Bali. Since 1996, she has been actively involved in many exhibitions.

She chose the Seniwati Gallery as a place to hold an exhibition because it is the only gallery of its kind in Asia, and has rightly becoming famous not only for its unique role, but also for the very high quality of its exhibitions.
